Polarfeed develops and produces feed in Øksfjord in Troms and Finnmark county and – as the smallest and only Norwegian-owned feed producer – Polarfeed excels in developing and producing high-quality feed that provides rapid growth, increases fish stress tolerance, provides good fish health and a high-quality final product.

 

To achieve this, the search for raw materials is constant. Not only as good as the alternatives (such as fish meal), but better than such raw materials. Good quality raw materials used in feed production is absolutely essential to preserve good fish health and welfare.

Polarfeeed was established in 2002 and is part of a broad professional environment with a focus on aquaculture and biology, and has sister companies in fish health, marine environment, pharmacy and aquaculture-oriented research.
